For producers
The record an auditor wants is the record you already kept.
SoftFarm’s producer app runs on the phone in your pocket. It tells you whether an input will cost you the European market before you buy it, and it turns the work you do anyway — spraying, harvesting, testing, dispatching — into GLOBALG.A.P.-shaped evidence.

Before you spend the money
Check the input at the agrovet counter
The check takes a photograph and a few seconds. It is the single highest-leverage moment in the whole season, because everything downstream inherits the decision made here.
Label reader
Photograph the container. Vision OCR handles faded print, Kiswahili text and small type, then pulls out active substances, concentrations and the PCPB registration number.
Typed lookup
No container to hand? Type the product name and the PCPB number. The lookup resolves it to its actives and caches the answer for everyone who asks next.
Verdict with a citation
SAFE, RISKY or UNCLEAR in plain language, plus the regulatory basis: approval status under Reg (EC) 1107/2009 and the residue limit that applies.
Safer alternatives
A blocked product comes back with EU-approved substances registered for the same pest on the same crop — including options permitted in organic production.
Crop doctor
Photograph a sick plant for a likely diagnosis, then get treatment options that are already filtered through the same EU compliance rules.
Crop compliance profile
Every planted crop carries a live profile: what has been applied to it, which harvest intervals are still running and whether it is currently clear for the EU.

Registers that fill themselves in
An audit is only painful when the evidence has to be reconstructed. SoftFarm keeps the registers as a side effect of recording the work, and shows you what is still missing before the auditor does.
- Registers and diaries for applications, harvests, residue tests, water sources, equipment and calibration, workers and training.
- Scheduled tasks so recurring obligations — calibration, hygiene training, water testing — appear before they lapse.
- Printable forms generated from live data, including autofilled AFRO-style GLOBALG.A.P. forms as PDFs.
- Document control for policies and procedures, with version and review dates tracked.
- Audit-readiness dashboard that scores where you stand and lists the specific gaps to close.
- Mass balance reconciling what was harvested against what was dispatched.

Beyond compliance
It still has to run the farm
Crops & fields
Crop catalogue, planted crops by block and season, soil analyses, a crop schedule and configurable units of measure.
Traceability
Provenance and traceability screens that follow a harvest into its dispatch, and onward into the exporter’s goods receipt.
Livestock
Breed catalogue and farmed livestock records for mixed operations.
Inventory
Stock of inputs and produce, with movements posted to the ledger automatically.
Finance
Chart of accounts, bank accounts, invoices, journals and reports — double-entry, posted from the operational events you already record.
Payroll
Employees, daily wage logs and payroll runs, including casual labour paid by the day.
Connections
Link your farm to the exporters you supply, so dispatches arrive on their side already traced.
Access
Owner, admin and user roles per farm, invitations by email, Google sign-in, and an audit log of who changed what.
Start with one crop and one input check.
You do not need to digitise the whole farm to get value. Check the next thing you are about to buy, and keep the record it produces.
